As we all know that Hyderabad was hit very badly by devastating rains in October 2nd week.. These rains never seen before in the last 100 years affected the whole city and many of the residents of low lying areas suffered the most for food, clothing and shelter.
Thousands of them went without shelter and proper food for several days.
ISKCON took an initiative to reach out to the worst affected people with a very liberal Prasadam distribution.
More than 500 worst affected slum dwellers and daily wage earners were served hot, nutritious sanctified prasadam each day for the last week. These efforts were well appreciated by local corporators, GHMC officials and the common public also.
